Fishing on ponds

Five minutes walking from the hotel there are two cascade ponds. In the highest pond there are carps, tench and pike, in the lowest – trout and sturgeon, bester (hybrid of beluga and sterlet) and American sheatfish. A professional instructor, ichthyologist will meet you, give you necessary equipment for rent and give you lesions of successful fishing.

Average weight of our carps is 2.5 – 3.3 kg. Some carps weigh up to 4 kg. Have you ever thought why we can not buy fish like this in supermarkets? The matter is that it is not profitable to fatten the fish during the long period with a single aim to sell it. But our carps have much time to growth. Weighty catch is waiting for you.

There is the cleanest water in out ponds, which is running from five springs. In the ponds there are valuable kinds of fish and crawfishes. All the year round compressor and pump maintain the ideal quality of water and enriching it with oxygen. Cleaning of bottom and coastal belt is a regular procedure. We look carefully after out little fishery. Even in case of little deviation from the norm (reduction of appetite of our fish or water quality changes) we call specialists, professors of Ichthyologist Academy to consult us and to solve our problems.

If you like, all the fish you caught will be cooked at the restaurant: make grilled fish or fish soup. You can taste it in one of the restaurants or in your room. For example you can do it in “Beer Assembly” where you can taste exclusive beer, made in our own brewery according to the oldest recipes.
